Παρουσίαση των νέων MacBook

Πριν από μερικές μέρες ανακοινώθηκε ότι η Apple θα κάνει ένα event - παρουσίαση για τη νέα σειρά των notebooks της. Την παρουσίαση την έκανε ο ίδιος ο Steve Jobs, ο οποίος έδειξε όλα τα νέα μοντέλα και φυσικά εμείς σας τα μεταφέρουμε.

Έχουμε και λέμε λοιπόν. Η παρουσίαση ξεκίνησε με μια αποτίμηση του τι έγινε το τελευταίο διάστημα. Η Apple τα πήγε πολύ καλά και αυτό όπως λένε οφείλεται σε 5 λόγους:

1. Εξαιρετικοί υπολογιστές - iMacs, Air κ.λ.π.
2. Φυσικά και εξαιρετικό Software. Leopard, iLife, iWork
3. Συμβατότητα με PC. Μέχρι πρόσφατα ήταν ανασταλτικός παράγοντας για την αγορά ενός Mac, αλλά τώρα υπάρχει το BootCamp για dual boot και το Fusion για Virtual Machine με Windows
4. Τα Windows Vista - η αποτυχία τους δηλαδή
5. Το πετυχημένο Marketing.

Μετά από μερικά ακόμα στοιχεία, εξήγησαν πως θα φτιάχνονται τα νέα προϊόντα της Apple. Η φήμη του Apple brick...  Η ιδέα ήρθε από την κατασκευή του Air, το οποίο είναι πάρα πολύ λεπτό, ελαφρύ, αλλά και πολύ γερό. Έτσι και η υπόλοιπη γραμμή παραγωγής θα ακολουθήσει τη συνταγή. Με άλλα λόγια ξεχνάμε τα πλαστικά cases και πλέον έχουμε ένα πολύ ελαφρύ, μονοκόμματο case από αλλουμίνιο.

Από εκεί και πέρα, στις καινοτομίες των νέων προϊόντων έχουμε νέα chips από την nVidia, αλλά και ένα νέο γυάλινο multitouch trackpad. Φυσικά συνοδεύεται και από τα ανάλογα νέα gestures που προστίθονται στο λογισμικό.

Θα βγει σε δύο εκδόσεις: Στα $1999, με  οθόνη 15.4, 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo, 2GB  DDR3 RAM, NVIDIA 9400 και 9600 και στα $2499 με πιο γρήγορη CPU με διπλή cache, 4GB RAM, διπλή graphics memory, 320GB σκληρό δίσκο.

Κυκλοφορούν από αύριο.

Apple MacBook Air

Έρχεται σε δύο εκδόσεις. Στην μια οι βελτιώσεις είναι η προσθήκη του nVidia 9400M, 120 GB σκληρού δίσκου ή 128 GB SSD σκληρού δίσκου (προαιρετικά) και το Mini Display Port. Η τιμή του είναι $1799. Η δεύτερη κοστίζει $2499 και προσφέρει επεξεργαστή 1,86GHz και SSD.

• Led Display
• 1 καλώδιο με τρεις συνδέσεις - Usb, Mini Display και MagSafe για την τροφοδοσία του notebook σας.

Στα $899 (όλα σε 99 τελειώνουν :p)

MacBook

Νέα σειρά με φθηνότερο μοντέλο στα $999 (μέχρι τώρα ήταν $1099). Επειδή όμως πολλοί θέλουν δυνατότητες των MacBook Pro στα απλά MacBook, θα κυκλοφορήσουν κάποια ενδιάμεσα μοντέλα. Αυτά θα έχουν:

• Case από αλουμίνιο (αντί για πλαστικό που θα έχουν τα μικρά της σειράς - όπως έχουν τώρα)
• LED backlit display
• Multitouch Glass trackpad
• Mini Display port
• nVidia 9400 chip

Αυτό θα κοστίζει $1299. Αρκετά πιο φθηνό από το MacBook Pro και στο design και το μέγεθος του απλού MacBook. Πολύ καλός συνδυασμός.

Υπάρχει και πιο ακριβό μοντέλο: Στα $1599 με 4GB RAM και 320GB HD
